This Georgian hall was extended in the late 19th century and again in the 20th century. With several reception rooms, a large kitchen, laundry, nine bedrooms, bathrooms and cellars, it is the largest property I have had the pleasure of surveying using the PAS 2035 retrofit assessment process. The house retains many of its original features, including sash windows, cornices, doors and other joinery, an impressive staircase and fireplaces. The owner is keen to improve the energy efficiency of the property through both fabric and service improvements, while retaining its heritage significance. The survey helped to highlight where improvements could be made.
